Entrepreneur and Attorney
I see myself both as a lawyer and an entrepreneur and not just in the sense that I started my own law practice.
I have worked in big law (two years at Fenwick & West LLPs corporate group), started two high growth companies (Rviewr for product reviews and Vivio for social and mobile games), represented a half a dozen startup companies, a handful of more established companies, and now, more recently, I have represented clients in a number of civil and criminal cases in both federal and state court.
No matter whether its transactional work or litigation, my primary goal is to understand my client's unique needs and goals. I believe my experiences as a founder, shareholder, board member, criminal defense attorney, and plaintiff's attorney have given me a broad perspective as to the issues that really matter. Through my continued active involvement with clients and my own business I continue to learn.
